Born in Southern Ohio and raised all over the country, I found my peace, as a child, in the solitude of the woods. With pen and paper, I wrote poetry and myths and from an early age found that writing is my Gateway to a deeper spiritual understanding. After 50 years, that belief hasn’t changed.
Life experiences have taught me that we are all creative in some form and creativity is one avenue with which to find personal peace, collective joy, and a higher connection to those around us. From a violent childhood, a heart wrenching divorce, and being stalked by a murderer, to the heights of love with my two daughters, my five grandchildren, four cats, rottweiler and beloved other, I have developed a deeper understanding of my own spiritual life. Cultivating the creativity from my heart is the pathway to bringing the scattered pieces of life together.
